Malabar Farm State Park

Friday, April 26th:

1. Welcome Reception and Meet Our Wildlife Ambassadors 6pm-7pm. Be sure to sign up for our mailing list. Raffle held for many donated items.  
2.  Keynote Speaker: Judy Semroc & Larry Rosche from Cleveland Museum of Natural History 7pm-8pm. “Dragonflies & Damselflies”

Saturday, April 27th:

1. Malabar Foundation 5K run/walk 9am-1pm.
2. Vernal Pool Hike 10am. Join us for a Naturalist led hike to our vernal pools. Meet in the lower parking lot near the working farm area. We will hike to the vernal pools to take aquatic samples and provide microscopes to look at what we find. We will also visit our wetlands area and discuss the importance of the wetlands in a farming environment.
3. Geocaching 101 10am. A basic program to introduce beginners to using a GPS device and locating geocaches. Practice session to include actual locating geocaches using GPS, great for basics and wanting to get started geocaching. 4. House tours at 12pm, 2pm, & 4pm.
5. Wagon rides at 1pm & 3pm.
6. Barn Dance 7-10pm. Join us for a fun family evening of square dancing. Experienced and beginner dancers welcomed. Featuring the Backporch Swing Band.  Food and refreshments will be available for sale by the Ohio Bird Sanctuary. Main Barn.

Sunday, April 28th:
